Grand Seiko 9587-7010 / SBGS007 Quartz
The Seiko 9587, launched in 1988, powered early Grand Seiko quartz models with thermistor-based temperature compensation. It offered high accuracy and quiet refinement before the 9F series took over in the mid-1990s. Used in SBGS references (003, 004, 005, 007), it ran through 1992 in steel, gold, and platinum cases. Collectors value it for its precision and transitional role in Seiko’s HAQ evolution.
