Description
Seiko Cronos 14036 | Fully Gold-Filled
Produced between 1958 and 1967, the Seiko Cronos represented the high-end movement of its era. Early models carried the Seikosha “Caliber 16” designation, later reclassified as 5420 under Seiko’s new numbering system. This caliber would eventually evolve into the first King Seiko movement, the 5440, in July 1961. Crafted by Daini Seikosha, the Cronos remains a historically significant bridge between Seiko’s early luxury ambitions and the birth of King Seiko.
