Brand History:
In 1959, Seiko introduced the Crown, a watch based on the Marvel but with greater precision. The Crown was found to be superior to the Marvel in watch competitions. In 1960, Seiko applied all its precision parts, assembly, and adjustment techniques to create a watch based on the Crown but with even greater precision. The First-Generation Grand Seiko was born.

Hands: In very good condition.
Crystal: Replaced.
Case: The gold-filled case is in good condition. Some restoration has been done.
