History:
The Goldfeather was made at a time when movements were assembled and regulated largely by hand and still labelled under Seiko’s old name, “Seikosha.” The assembly of the caliber 60M was especially challenging for the brand given the thinness of the movement at 2.95mm. This movement is one of the thinnest ever made.

Details:
This watch was produced in June 1962 and comes with manual winding.

  • Dial: In good condition. Some patina has developed but is hardly visible to the naked eye. In normal daylight, this is not visible.

  • Hands: In good condition.

  • Crystal: Replaced.

  • Case: In good condition. There are small scratches and marks after a long life in service. Small inscriptions on the back.

This high-end movement has been stripped down, cleaned, and serviced so you can enjoy the watch for years to come without thinking of maintenance. All functions have been tested and are working.
