The Lord Marvel, introduced in 1958, was Seiko’s first high-end luxury watch model. Produced by the Suwa factory in Nagano, Japan, there were no compromises made during the production process, and one can tell the difference in quality when comparing the movement, case, and dial between the Lord Marvel and other models produced by Seiko during this era.

Watch Details:

  • Movement: 5740a, automatic and manual winding

  • Dial: In fair condition without any scratches but with a few marks after a long life. Solid gold indexes.

  • Hands: In very good condition.

  • Crystal: Polished acrylic.

  • Case: In fair condition with some wear on the lugs and the side of the case. Only cleaned. Gold filled with 80 micron 14k.

  • Strap: Genuine leather strap
